terima kasih menerima ku yang serba kekurangan..
kedalam keluarga mu...anak minangkabau
walaupun kita hanya bicara tinta kekadang tawa bersuara..
namun bersua tiada...
kan ku nanti tiba masa yang terindah itu
hingga tawa kita di tanah mu..
janji tak dapat ku ukirkan..
hanya pada Nya ku pohonkan
di kurniakan detik dan waktu yang terbaik..
untok ku kembali di negara mu
bertemu teman teman yang menanti...
duhai temanku hifni..
tulisan mu indah..teruskan...
kan ku iringi mu selalu...

Hello Everybody
Saya lahir di Medan. Orang tua (alm) berasal dari Minang. Sewaktu saya tinggal di Jakarta dan libur dari sekolah, kami pergi berlibur ke Sumatra Barat. Like you, Hifni, I always treasure this beautiful and lovely memory. This is the way I remember Minang with the beautiful landscapes and rich traditions, especially musical dancers with their colorful costumes. I fondly remember “tari piring,“ where the dancers skillfully moved their hands while holding plates with candles on them. It seems this dance symbolizes the close knit and well coordinated Minang family, the farmers’ daily activities, and the feelings of joy and gratitude due to the abundant harvest.

mencuba masa persekolahan..khuartir lilin padam..
berhati berlenggang..harus lembut dan ayu..itu pesan guru...
banyak lagi tarian kita sama..
kita anak nusantara...
