In 2008, may the entire universe be filled with peace, joy and love. I wish you all the happiness in the world. During this wonderful season, may all your dreams, hopes and wishes come true. It is my fondest wish that you will all enjoy a wonderful and successful new year that is filled with new possibilities, renewed hope, and great happiness. May there be a thriving tourist industry in West Sumatra this coming year, as well.

Semoga tahun 2008 akan membawa kebahagian dan kesejahteraan bagi kita semuanya.

dunia yang indah
kekadang tercela..
namun itu lah putaran
segala kehidupan..
untok membuka mata hati
kemajuan meluaskan minda
yang terbaik ada
yang derita bersama
yang bertaburan dengan rasa..kurang senang
iri hati ..tamak haluba..
itu jua resam dunia..
kaya miskin kehendaknya..
pasti ada keistimewaan
jua kekurangan di sebaliknya..
tak pasti yang kaya senantiasa gembira
tak pasti yang miskin berendam airmata..
dunia ...kau yang indah..
